04.11.2012: NEW SAG SHORT FILM
Tara has been busy, busy, busy. With pilot season winding down, she can finally catch her
breathe for a moment.
-Tara was cast in the SAG short film, SKETCH, starring Kwesi Boakye, directed by Stephen
Barton, just a few weeks ago! Updates will be announced on film festivals it is submitted to.
-Tara has also actively been keeping her connections strong with casting directors, taking classes and honoring her craft.

01.09.2012: Happy New Year!!!
Happy New Year !!! Tara hopes everyone had a wonderful holiday season. As the holidays wrap up, Tara is hard at work once again.
- Tara has been involved in multiple table reads, as she has recently been cast in a Pilot/Web series shooting the second week of January. Tara is very excited about this project as it will be shot in a beautiful studio with an amazing Cast & Crew. And even better news: Episode 2 is already in the works! Go Tara!
- Tara's "Honest Holiday Card Song" for www.CollegeHumor.com is now running on CollegeHumor. You can also see it on her Video's Page.
- Tara plans to continue perfecting her skills in various classes this month with some of NY's top professionals.

Tara has been working a lot lately even though the industry is slowing down for the holiday season. Here is what she's been up to:
- Tara currently has a Toy's R Us Ad running nationally! Go out and buy some fun gifts for your loved ones from Toy's R Us!!!
- Tara recently shot with Go! Gator for new toys! Her ad will be on boxes in Walmart nation-wide in March 2012
- Tara shot for www.CollegeHumor.com (Novemeber & Decemeber 2011) - Look out for both on the website. One is called "Honest Holiday Cards" and another she worked opposite of Regis Philbin!
- Tara will be working with MSA in the new year !!!

7.27.2011: New Commerical & a New Role
Its been a while since I has updated with all my recent activity, but for those of you who know me, its because I've been busy workinng hard! I recently graduated Montclair State and Officially have made Acting my full-time commitement.
I have some great recent news: I shot a commerical the other night, and although according to contract I can't release what the product was, I had alot of funn shooting with some great people! It was a wonderful oppurtunity.
I also had the oppurtunity to work in a new up-coming movie (details to come)where I got a featured supporting role as drunk girl falling out of the car window. It may have been the most creative and fun role I've ever played! And the best news, my scene is the opening scene of the movie!!!
Also since my last update, I met with Barry Shapiro and after a great meeting, he told me he looked forward to bringing me in for more auditions! I attended a Nadia-Lubin Intensive and got some awesome feedback from our meeting. I've been auditioning like crazy and each one has been a new experience, making my craft stronger and stronger.

3.2.2011: A New Year Means New Print Ads
Hi everyone,
WOW! 2011 has definitely come in with a BANG! Let me begin by wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday. There has been a lot going on within the past couple of months and I couldn’t be more excited to share the news with everyone. I am working with an additional manager. Thank you Ms. Ray for everything thus far!! She really is great. As always working with someone new always starts of slow at first, therefore January was kind of slow, but it helped me get into the swing of things after the holidays. So here’s a list of recent updates:
1. Two NEW print campaigns, one for Babies R Us and one for Toys R Us. [One of the Babies R Us photos will be posted today!!]
2. I will be adding footage on here very soon of my work from the student film a couple of months ago, so look for the brand new stuff.
3. I am looking into more charity performances that I can do to help children around the area.
4. Auditioning like crazy; everything from Puma print ads to “twin doubles” for celebrities to even singing auditions. Yes, I am going to actually be auditioning for a singing role, which I haven’t done in so long! There are so many more – but wish me luck. Fingers crossed everyone!!

Hey Everyone,
I can offically say I am a SAG/AFTRA actress. Thats right, I joined the Unions!! :) Its been a very big part of my career, and has definetly made everything seem a bit more real. Other things Ive done:
1. A verizon in-house training video
2. A Babies R Us print ad ( coming out in February 2011)
3. A student film for Lisa Camarro. We had an amazing cast and crew!
4. I was featured on Gossip Girl! I got to be 1 of 4 drunk girls in episode 11.
5. I shot a PSA for TWOLHA.

Wow Wow Wow. Have I been busy. I have been working like crazy to accomplish alot lately. I can officially say I am Aftra-Must Join and quite frankly, couldnt be happier. I've been getting my reel together, and have completed it and sent it out to a couple people so hopefully we'll see where it takes me.
I've been auditioning for a bunch of stuff lately, between agents and managers, to things for catalogues and promo videos. So cross your fingers that all my auditions go well enough to take me somewhere. And check out my new headshots, and hopefully new pictures to come soon!!! Hi Everybody,
Wow! It has really been way to long since i've updated. There is so much to tell since my last post. I finally have new headshots !!! Also "All For You" currently got choosen for a really good film festival !! Check out the trailer if you get a chance.
So new updates:
1. I have been working like crazy because I have alot of goals set for the summer, so my here goes. I recently met with PROModels in PA and am currently non-exclusive with them, but hope to get alot of fun work from them. | I officially met with Kathay Donahue Agency in NJ and will be working full on with her also. | Thomas Saint and I are really trying to get some great stuff going so that we can make things happen.
2. I've been envolved with 3 student films since the last post, 1 was a voice over and the other 2 were on screen. They were all really great and I will post videos as soon as their available.
Although I have not been doing to much on screen lately, Ive been working on representation to do big and better things. Watch out for me, things are about to change!
New auditions this week that I will update on sooner, and Im currently working on posting my new headshots.

Hello Everyone,
It has been a month since my last post and I do have some new and great updates!
1. I not only auditioned for a role in a pilot called "Give us Green Cards" but I also landed the role in it too! It was a great time and I got to play the role of a coffee shop waitress. Everyone was so nice & it was a great shoot.
2. I officially booked a shot with photographer Barry Morganstein [ www.BarryMorganstein.com ] for new headshots. He was rated #1 on backstage.com and he does great work. I feel that good things will come along with these shoots.
3. I got to meet and talk with Tracey GoldBlum from Abrams Artist Agency. She was extremely nice & I hope I get to work with her in the near future.
As always I have audition plans for the next few weeks.
AND Also, Its my Birthday Next Tuesday [3/30] and I will be 21 :)

Hi ya’ll! So it has been a couple weeks since I’ve had a lot going on the past couple of weeks.
I met with an agency in the Philly area and we will be working on future projects together. I’ve also been meeting with some photographers, and did a shoot with photographer Thomas David, pictures are to come shortly.
I also have a lot of events that I’m excited about coming up. I will be shooting with a couple of more photographers over the next few weeks and will be posting different pictures constantly so be on the lookout. I also got GREAT NEWS that I will be working on another indie film in April, as the lead role. I also have a bunch of up and coming auditions that I will report back on as soon as they happen. Cross your fingers for me!

Hello everyone! The year is very busy and treating me very well. I have a lot going on over the next couple of weeks. I shot my first pilot on 2/5/10 playing the role of a women who is engaged to a a "allegedly gay" man. The show is called "I Object!" and although I was sick almost the entire time during filming, I survived and gave it one of my best preformances yet!
I am also working on a couple student films, and I might possibly be shooting a SAG short sometime this week. Due to time conflicts there are some projects I had to turn down, but there will always be more work! I will keep updating as soon as I get more information.

The past couple weeks have been really busy in the "Tara Alexa" world.
I received a callback from "Project Green Diamond" although due to time issues and another project, I was unable to follow up. I also had a couple auditions on which I have recieved call backs on, just waiting to follow up with those and continue in the process. I will also be having my first music video audition on 1/27 so I will update on how that goes. I have also considered going into theatre again, and will be auditioning for "The Little Mermaid" in a couple of weeks.

Happy New Year! Its a new year and a new me. Get ready to see my name alot this year!! I've been quite busy this holiday season, and here are some new updates. I've been auditioning alot lately some highlights - Ive auditioned to host an educational video, a six flags commercial, and a pilot called "Project Green Diamond" which is a reality series that will follow aspiring actresses - just to name a few. I've also have been presented with the oppurtunity to audition for multiple Indie features.
This past weekend I worked with director and friend, Ivan Quinonez (IQ Productions), on a "Cops Spoof" which was alot of fun. I will post a video as soon as I recieve it. I also got the chance to work on Law & Order and meet some really nice people, who were very helpful.
As always Ive been networking like crazy and am fully focused on becoming a SAG memeber. wish me luck :) good things are about to come.

Happy Holidays! I want to start off by saying how thankful Ive been to have such a great year. Over the past couple of weeks I have been doing some work with reality shows, and even got to meet Stacie London from TLC! I also was a part of the new film coming out in 2010 called "Black Swan" and although I wasnt on screen in this one, I did get to do stand-in work for Mila Kunis.
Im also working on new headshots and pictures so keep an eye out for those.

So i'm super excitied to say that I got to work on "Mercy" on thursday and it was one of the most exciting shows I worked on yet. I loved being in an actual studio, I got to meet & work with Michelle Trachtenburg !!! I also meet my look-alike actress Taylor Schilling. The whole cast and crew was really nice, and I hope I get to work with them again soon. The coolest part of all was not only was I picked by the casting director to be on the show, but I was actually picked and approved by the DIRECTOR! I WAS THE DIRECTORS PICK !!! so amazing.

So I know its been a couple weeks since my last post but im back and ready for action. Its getting colder which I absolutely hate, but that means its almost the holiday season.
What have I been doing lately you ask : well...
1. I'm offically on IMDB - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3677622/ --> ME !!! ahh, I couldnt be more excitied. I'm going to make sure every agent on the west and east coast knows my name.
2. I've been working on a student film called "Return to sender" for my favorite director Kevin Guinto.
3. I auditioned for a pilot last week called "Coming of Age." It was really fun, because it was an all improv audition, except I didnt really fit what they were looking for :/ ... its okay though, im just taking it as experience.
4. I plan on getting a demo reel up, really soon ! I'm just waiting on my copy of "All for You" and then Ill be able to get something together.

1. "White Irish Drinkers" on wednesday was fun/tiring all at the same time. BEST PART : unlimiteddddddd PB & banana samiches :) it was sooo delicious. Except there was alot of smoking (herbal cigs & smoke machines) that basically made me smell like a chain smoker when i got home. Everyone was really interesting though, and i was lucky enough to meet someone else who works with Thomas (Thomas Saint Management 917.434.8092 - if you need me. haha.).
2. I went to Stanley Kaplan's Agency yesterday. Very nice man, and im gonna start working with him. This should be interesting.
Thomas has big plans for me haha.

GMA & ActorsFEST !
G00d M0Rning America & ActorsFEST :
1. G00D M0RNiNG AMERiCA - so much fun. i got to see shwayze and basically stand 4 feet away from they & they said hi to me, and told me they like my jacket (ZEBRA :)) and i saw Sam Champion (whose sooo pretty) lol. it was amazing being on such a crazy set and watching everyone run around like chickens without heads lol. TELEMUND0 was filming outside the studio so that was pretty cool too.
2. ActorsFest - trying & unfortunately not really worth it. Me & Seth Dale (www.sethdale.com) - got to the city at 530 in the morning to wait with hundred of other aspiring actors & actresses. People had even camped out! .. lucky for us it wasnt raining tho :) -- finally we were able to register & sign up for an audition slot of NICK/TEEN NICK. basically we were to old (even though they told me i was cute & adorable ) but i got to put my headshots into a bunch of boxes for diffrent casting directors .. so maybe itll be worth it. -- oh and did i mention i got a free bag, waterbottle & pen. yea, im that cool. lol.
Tommorow ill be doing some extra work that Thomas ( Thomas Saint Management 917.434.8092) on the set of the "White Irish Drinkers" tommorow. Its a movie based in the 70's so i get to dress like 'That 70's show" lol. ill let you know how it goes.

First off, I did some work on the HB0 series "How to make it in america" 2 weeks ago and meet an incredible group of people, all aspiring to make it just like me. I drank alottt of coffee that day too. It was a long day. haha.
Secondly, I will be helping one of my favorite directors Kevin Guinto, on a film about a girl who believes she has super powers over the next couple of weeks, as the lead "Claire"
ALS0 -- I landed the lead role in a Indie Film called "All for you" as the character "Rebecca." The filming was done over this past weekend in PA. it was so cold and long filming days but the film is now in post production and I will put up a link/clip when it is completed. Ill also be on IMDB :) yay!
Thomas Saint (Manger) is very happy with me. I couldnt be happier that someone is recognizing my potential.
